Villa Adriana
Thursday, 7 June 2018: our last day in Tivoli. It's warm and clouded today and we, without even discussing the topic, made it a day of leisure.
We had brunch with lots of fresh fruits and gorgeous tomatoes, which Peter bought at the local market.
We washed our smelly clothes by hand (no washing machine at the appartment) and hang them outside to dry.
In the afternoon we visited the Villa Adrianus, which is totally utterly different than the Villa d'Este, as this is an historic site with lots of ruins of the late emperor Hadrianus.

In the morning Peter had gone into town to buy fresh bread and ended up at the local market where he bought fresh fruits.
Photo P. made, and nope he didn't buy me any flowers :-)
