A weekend in the South: 27-28 February 2016:

Visiting the epic Jeroen Bosch exhibition in het Noordbrabants Museum in Den Bosch. In the evening we had our yearly Bday dinner with Saskia, P's sister at restaurant Jiu.nu.

Before going to restaurant Jiu.nu in Eindhoven, we had drinks at Usine, a lovely place near our hotel in Eindhoven.

A cultural New Year's day in Amsterdam

1 January 2016, a cultural New Years day spent in the Rijks Museum in Amsterdam and when it started to get dark walking the route of the the Amsterdam Light Festival. 

The building of the Rijks Museum itself is worth visiting for sure. It has been utterly refurbished, which took several years, but it shows. 

A lot of famous paintings by Rembrandt and Vermeer to be admired in this museum.
