Canada 12: The Icefields Parkway

Peyto lake from viewpoint Bow summit at Banff National park

Our B&B at Golden 'LeBeausoleil': with a nice, fresh and cool room (most hotel rooms stuffy/warm and you need to put the airco on) with private balcony and bathroom AND great view on the mountains, scrumptious breakfast (fresh fruit yeah!), a super bed and kind hosts.
Yesterday evening I make blog posts and Peter made a photo of me, which I didn't even notice.
This morning during breakfast we met nice Canadians from the East coast with whom we exchanged travel experiences; they advised us on the must sees in Banff/Jasper & we told them about our whale watching trip at Ucluelet with Allen and Toddy.

This night we stay in Mount Robson Inn in Jasper, a far too expensive and small room in a simple motel. In a national park the prices are sky high in top season :-(.
But, we were able to do our laundry in an 'American style' (big and simple machine).

yesterday evening me blogging ^^

The Takakkaw Falls in Yoho National park

Spiral tunnel loop of the Canadian Pacific trains we saw from a viewpoint in Yoho national park. We were lucky coz there was a very very large train passing through the tunnels when we were there: an amazing sight.
We had learned a lot about this construction and the reason why when visiting the museum in Revelstoke yesterday.

the teal color of the lake is real I didn't photoshop
