the Canal Flats (wetlands) we were passing through on our way to Cranbrook our next stop : in summer a sanctuary for migrating birds

lovely B&B Baker Hill Heritage, a 'heritage house' at Cranbrook

Our host Gladys advised us to visit the Indian restaurant Spice Hut to have dinner. We did and loved it: nice atmosphere and good Indian food.
